The Hostess Series

This series examines the evolving culture that surrounds hostessing in several regions of America. With an overarching theme of the evolution of old to new standards, traditional patterns were overlaid on flaking wallpaper and strands of jewelry reflective of the region unraveled at the ends to show the outdatedness and deterioration of the stereotypes commonly held by each region.
